The Study on the Developmental Plan for Re-Educational Function of the Graduate School of Education

The objective of the paper is to suggest the basic requisite and development plan in a re-educational function though the rethinking a roles of the graduate school of education. The aim of the graduate school of education is to provide continuing education to teachers who try to develop professional skills and seek the Master``s Degree. But the great problems of the graduate school of education are functional conflict between teacher training and teacher in-service training, decreasing applicants, and low-quality of curriculum. The basic requisites and suggestions for improving re-educational function of the graduate school of education are preparing a new development plan and structural reform for in-service training, enhancing a essential function on the establishment purpose of the graduate school of education, preparing lifelong-educational plan for professional training in change of teacher training system, providing continually quality management, improving field-focused graduation system, and developing curriculum connected with school.
