This study focuses on the conception of the text of language skills in the revised 2015 English Curriculum. One of the remarkable things is to adopt the scope of text in the definition of ``text`` as a criterion of developing the English textbook. It is defined separately in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Each language function(listening, speaking, reading and writing) is characterized as its scope of the text. The conception of the text in listening skill is clear, easy, and simple messages. In speaking, it means easy and simple sentence, learned words or phrases, and simple question and order. In reading, it clarifies short and simple text contained visual clues such as picture and illustration etc.. In writing, it delimits the scope of text as easy and simple sentence, learned words or phrases. In short, 4 types of text conceptions are closely related to each skill`s details such as sound, letter, words, phrases, sentences in English.
