Korean discourse community witnessed and was shocked by a sinking passenger ship, Seweolho, last year. The tragedy of perished people with the sinking ship was left in the heart of Korean community as a deep wound. As time passed by, the collaborative spirit to recover from the terrible incident became divided and was cut into frames of ideology between left and right. The objective of this paper is to explore the transition of the discourse community from the perspective of key word in the context using a concordancer and the web-based corpus searched for keyword Seweolho . Tagxedo and Webcorp were used to extract the content information and present the changes in word cloud. The findings are that discourse community has shifted its position and showed the division framed by the ideology. The division prevents the investigation of what really happened from being concluded.
