여성건강간호학수업에서 팀기반학습 적용 효과

The Effects of Lessons using Team-Based Learning on Nursing Students : Focusing on Pregnant Women Care

본 연구는 여성건강간호학 수업에 적용한 팀기반학습 수업이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력 및 학업성취도에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 창원시에 위치한 K 대학교 간호대학생(3학년) 101명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 2017년 3월 1일부터 5월 30일까지 임부간호에 대한 팀기반학습을 총 3회(6시간) 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23.0 program을 사용하여, 기술통계와 paired t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 팀기반학습 적용 후 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향(t=-5.01 p<.001)과 문제해결능력(t=-5.98, p<.001)이 유의하게 증가하였다. 또 학업성취도에서, 개별준비도검사 점수 보다 팀별준비도검사 점수가 유의하게 높았다. 즉, 팀기반학습은 간호교육에서 중요한 역량인 비판적 사고와 문제해결능력을 향상시키고, 학업성취도에서도 효과적임을 의미한다. 따라서 임상 현장에서 발생하는 간호문제를 비판적으로 사고하고, 효과적으로 해결하기 위하여 간호교육에서 팀기반 학습을 널리 적용할 필요가 있겠다.

The purpose of this study is to confirm the effects of team-based learning (TBL) applied to women s health nursing class on critical thinking disposition, problem-solving ability, and academic achievement of nursing students. Participants were 51 nursing students (3rd grade) of K university in Changwon city. The study was conducted three times (6 hours) for team-based learning about pregnant women care from March 1 to May 30, 2017. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test with SPSS WIN 23.0 program. The results showed that the critical thinking disposition (t=-5.01, p<.001) and problem-solving ability (t=-5.98, p<.001) of nursing college students were significantly increased after applying team-based learning. Also, in the academic achievement, the score of the group readiness assurance test was significantly higher than that of the individual assurance test. Therefore, it is necessary to widely apply team-based learning in nursing education in order to think critically and solve effectively nursing problems occurring in clinical field.
