예비유아교사의 부적응 유아에 대한 은유분석

Metaphor Analysis of Maladjusted Child Among Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사가 부적응 유아에 대해 어떻게 이해하고 의미를 부여하는지 은유분석을 통해 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 경남지역 4년제 대학교 3, 4학년인 예비유아교사 총 268명을 대상으로 2016년 9월 5일부터 9월 20일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 체계적 은유분석을 기초하여 실행되었으며, 범주화하고 수량화하였다. 예비유아교사들이 생각하는 부적응유아에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과, 상위 내용유형은 태도, 특성, 원인이 나타났으며, 하위 내용유형은 우호적 태도, 무관심한 태도, 긍정적 태도, 부정적 태도, 이상적 태도, 사회적 특성, 행동적 특성, 환경적 요인, 심리적 요인 총 9개 유형이 도출되었다. 이를 통해 첫째, 예비유아교사는 부적응 유아에 대해 우호적 태도와 무관심한 태도를 주로 보였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사는 부적응 유아의 사회적․정서적 특성과 행동적 특성에 관심을 가졌으며, 유아가 경험하는 부적응의 원인에 주목하였다. 이는 부적응 유아에 대한 긍정적 인식과 태도를 형성할 수 있도록 효과적 지도방안과 교사교육의 필요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to know how pre-service teachers perceive the concept Maladjusted Child and add a meaning to “Maladjusted Child” through metaphor analysis. For this purpose, 268 pre-service early childhood teachers who were the students of university in Gyeongnam area were selected as target objects, and data were collected from September 5-20, 2016. The data were both categorized and quantified based on the systematic metaphor analysis. As a result, there were nine types of sub - content types: friendly attitude, indifferent attitude, positive attitude, negative attitude, ideal attitude, social characteristic, behavioral characteristic, environmental factor and psychological factor. In summary, First, the pre-service early childhood teachers showed friendly and indifferent attitudes toward maladjusted child. Second, pre-service early childhood teachers were interested in the social characteristics and behavioral characteristics of maladjusted child, and paid attention to the causes of maladjustment experienced by child. This suggests the need for effective guidance and teacher education so that positive perceptions and attitudes toward maladjusted child.
