Primary Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma of the Lacrimal Gland

Primary Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma of the Lacrimal Gland

Tumors of the lacrimal gland are uncommon, and most are of epithelial origin. Primary non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) of the lacrimal gland is extremely rare. A 45- year-old male was admitted with a complaint of a painless swelling of the right eye superiolateral lesion. We confirmed primary diffuse large B cell lymphoma of the lacrimal gland, and the patient was classified as stage IE. The patient was treated with chemotherapy, followed by radiotherapy. He achieved complete remission, and, after 26 months of follow-up, the patient remained free of disease.
