Resilience is the power that overcomes adversity, and person who has higher resilience has positive self-identity and interpersonal relationship. For school age children’s mental health, resilience is important and needed. Thus, this study reviewed literature related resilience, and the relationship between resilience and music education. Also, investigated relevance of elements of resilience and the characteristics, objects, and key competencies of music subjects in 2015 Korean curriculum revision.
