초등영어 예비교사 교육을 위한 Flipped Learning의 적용방안 연구

A study on how to implement flipped learning in pre-service elementary teacher training

본 연구는 Flipped Learning을 초등영어 예비교사 교육에서 어떻게 활용할 수 있는 가에 대해 살펴본 논문이다. 이 논문의 목적을 위하여 먼저 Flipped Learning의 정의와 Flipped Learning을 활용한 선행연구들을 살펴보고자 한다. Flipped Learning은 토론과 협업이 요구되는 사회과와 과학과 수업에 주로 적용되었으며, 영어와 같은 외국어 수업에는 아직까지는 활발히 적용되지 않고 있었으나, 최근에 거꾸로 수업을 외국어 수업과 예비교사 교육에 적용한 선행 연구들이 나타나기 시 작하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 거꾸로 수업이 적용된 선행 연구들, 특히 영어를 가르치는 수업에 어떻게 적용이 되었는 지를 살펴보려고 한다. 선행 연구 결과를 중심으로, 거꾸로 수업이 예비교사 교육, 특히 초등영어 예비교사 교육에 어떻게 사용될 수 있는 지를 살펴본 후, 그 적용방안을 제언할 것이다.

This study aimed to investigate how to use flipped learning in pre-service elementary teacher training. For the purpose of this study, previous studies on flipped learning will be reviewed. So far flipped learning has been used in social studies or science classrooms. In this study, the author will review studies which applied flipped learning in English learning classroom both in ESL and EFL contexts. Also, a few studies where flipped learning was applied to pre-service teacher education. Based on the literature review, some pedagogical implications and suggestions will be provided.
