“專家之學”的史學研究 ――淺論陳寅恪視域下的中國中古史

This paper was performed to study of Chen Yinque陳寅恪’s Study on Medieval History in China from his learning. It is well known that Chen Yinque was a Chinese historian, scholar, and fellow of Academia Sinica, considered one of the most original and creative historians in 20th century China. According to this point, this paper is consisted of foreword, two body chapters, conclusion and the references. Chapter one gave an introduction to this paper and reviewed the former research. On the basis of previous studies and problem awareness, in Chapter two, tried to discuss about the Chen Yinque’s Study on Medieval History in China from his family background and the Theory of “Culture” Corpus. In addition, tried to read and analyze the Chinese medieval history works written by Chen Yinque’s work. In Chapter three, the main discussion is how did he explain the historical phenomenon of the The Wei-Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties, to the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Through careful textual research, Chen Yinque broke through the limitations of previous theories. The contents of his academic book, such as Draft essays on the origins of Sui and Tang institutions隋唐制度淵源略論稿& Draft outline of Tang political history 唐代政治史述論稿, indicate clearly that culture is higher than national race. in other words, it proves that culture transcends the historical proposition of national race . I think Chen Yinque s study of Chinese Medieval History will provide new insight into his academic achievement, include many faces of a theory of historym literary thoughts and practical criticism.
