예비유아교사의 교직인·적성 진단을 위한 검사도구의 구인타당도 검증

A Study on the Construct Validity of a Test Measuring Personality and Teaching Aptitude of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 선행연구에서 개발된 예비유아교사를 위한 교직인·적성 검사도구의 문항 양호도와 변별도 및 구인타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 인천, 충청, 세종의 3, 4년제 유아교육과 학생 총 607명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 첫째, 문항 평균은 낮지 않아서 난이도가 높지 않았고, 표준편차도 작은 문항은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 왜도와 첨도는 기준을 충족시켜 정규성이 입증되었다. 그리고 요인별 상·하 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 있어서 문항 변별도가 입증되었다. 둘째, 수렴 및 판별타당도를 위해서 확인적 요인분석을 시행한 결과, 2개 범주(사회 공동체 성향, 내적·인지적 성향), 9개 요인(열정·헌신, 윤리·신뢰, 책임감, 협력, 타인존중, 자기조절력, 자신감·개방성, 전문성발달·문제해결력, 의사소통능력)으로 구성되었다. 수렴타당도를 위한 표준화추정계수, C.R. 값은 수용기준을 넘었고, 사회 공동체 성향, 내적·인지적 성향 영역의 개념신뢰도와 평균분산추출은 모두 수용기준 이상으로 타당하였다. 판별타당도를 위해서 상관을 구한 결과, A.V.E.이 요인별 상관의 제곱(Φ)보다 커서 판별타당성이 입증되었다. 마지막으로 예비유아교사 교직인‧적성 검사도구의 요인별 신뢰도를 검증한 결과, Cronbach’s α .85∼.95로 높게 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the item validity, the item discrimination and the construct validation of a test measuring personality and teaching aptitude of pre-service early childhood teachers. For this purpose, 607 college students majoring in early childhood education at colleges and universities in 5 districts (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Chungcheong, and Sejong) participated in the survey. The results were as follows. First, the mean and standard deviation were adequate. The normality of skewness and kurtosis were proved. Since a significant difference between the upper and the lower group was identified in item analysis, item discrimination was proved to be high enough. Second, the test was constructed into 2 domains (social community disposition and inner-cognitive disposition) and 9 factors (cooperation, respect for others, passion/dedication, professional development/problem solving ability, communication, responsibility, self–control, self–confidence/openness, and ethics/trust) by the result of confirmatory factor analysis or convergent and discriminant validity. Standardized estimation coefficients and C. R values for convergent validity satisfied the acceptance criteria. The conceptual reliability and mean variance extraction of ‘social community disposition’ and ‘inner-cognitive disposition’ met the acceptance criteria. The discriminant validity was validated by A.V.E., which was found to be greater than the square of correlation coefficient (Φ²). Finally, the reliability of the teachers’ personality and teaching aptitude test of the pre-service early childhood teachers was Cronbach’s α .85∼.95.
