한·일 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 교육과정 및 교과서 탐색

Examination of ‘Expression’ Area in Physical Education Curriculum and Textbook for Elementary School in Korea and Japan

본 연구는 한국과 일본의 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 교육과정 및 교과서를 비교 연구하여 시사점을 알아보기 위해 체육과 교육과정, 관련서적, 교과서, 연구 문헌 등을 수집해서 탐색하였다. 교육과정 탐색 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정의 구성은 성격, 목표, 내용, 학습 방법, 평가 등으로 상세한 설명과 함께 일관성을 유지하고 지속적으로 개발할 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다. 둘째, 교육과정의 내용은 환경과 대상에 알맞게 수준별로 또 효율적으로 진행되어야 하고, 다른 학문이나 교과간의 상호협력이 필요하다. 교과서 탐색 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과서의 구성은 학습안내에서 다양한 동기유발과 단계별 활동, 활동과 평가를 일체화하는 마무리 등 체계적으로 구성되어야 한다. 둘째, 교과서의 내용은 다양한 리듬을 사용하여 주제에 알맞은 활동으로의 전개와 인성 및 창의성 향상에 도움을 주는 내용이 필요하다. 셋째, 학생 스스로 창작할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 내용과 다양하고 독창적인 창작 활동이 되도록 교사의 끊임없는 조언이 필요하다. 넷째, 민속무용을 통해서 전통과 문화예술의 우수함을 이해하고 즐길 수 있도록 모든 학년에서의 지도가 필요하다.

This study collected and comparatively analyzed physical education, curriculums, related books, textbooks, and research literature in Korea and Japan to find implications for elementary physical education. The results of the curriculum analysis are as follows. First, the composition of the curriculum should be organized so that it can be consistently developed with detailed explanations such as characteristics, goals, content, learning methods and assessments. Second, the contents of the curriculum should be presented according to levels, environments, and subject, and mutual cooperation between different subjects is required. The results of the textbook analysis are as follows. First, the composition of textbooks should be based on systematically organized study guidelines including various motivations, step-by-step activities, and a conclusion that unifies activities and assessments. Second, the contents of the textbook need to use various rhythms to develop into activities appropriate to the subject, and to improve personality and creativity. Third, it is necessary to help students create themselves and to continuously advise teachers to create diverse and creative activities. Fourth, every grade needs to experience folk dance to understand and enjoy the excellence of traditional culture and art.
