인형치료를 활용한 심리진단평가에 나타난 아동학대행위자 특성연구

A characteristics study on the child abusers based on Psychology diagnostic assessment using figure therapy

본 연구는 인형치료를 활용한 학대행위자 심리진단평가 매뉴얼 개발 과정에서 나타난 아동학대행위자의 특성을 현상학적 관점에서 그 의미와 본질을 살펴보고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 아동학대행위자의 가족관계 탐색, 가족이 보는 아동학대행위자 탐색, 아동학대행위자가 소망하는 가족 탐색, 아동학대행위자가 보는 피해아동 탐색의 4가지 영역에서 실시된 심리진단평가의 결과를 중심으로 사례를 분석하였다. 아동학대행위자 특성은 Moustakas(1994)의 현상학적 연구방법에 따라 공통된 경험에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 의미 있는 기술 및 주제를 기술하고, 자료를 분석하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 4개의 주제에서 4개의 경험의 본질과 12개의 의미 있는 진술이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 인형치료를 활용한 심리진단평가를 통하여 아동학대행위자의 특성을 알아봄으로써 아동학대에 대한 예방적 차원뿐 아니라 아동학대행위자에 대한 중재적 차원의 효과적인 개입에 유용한 정보를 제공했다는 점에 의의가 있다고 본다.

The aim of this study is to investigate essential meanings of characteristics that appear to child abusers based on psychology diagnostic assessment using figure therapy from a phenomenological view point. This study analyzed 6 cases of psychology diagnostic assessment that counselors in child protection institution experienced for below 4 topics; “how is a family relationship?”, “how do family members regard the abuser?”, “what is an ideal family to the child abuser?” and “how the child abuser regards a victim of violence?”. On the basis of investigated case analysis, valuable meanings and topics of characteristics of child abusers appearing in the development process of psychology diagnostic assessment manual using figure therapy were described and analyzed based on understanding of common experiences through the method of phenomenological study of Moustakas(1994). As a result, we found total of 4 essentials of the experiences and 12 meaningful statements for 4 topics. Accordingly, This study provides valuable information for prevention of child abuse and also efficient arbitration to child abusers by understanding their characteristics through psychology diagnostic assessment using figure therapy.
