베트남 결혼이주여성의 사회적 참여, 사회적 지지, 임파워먼트 및 삶의 질의 구조적 관계

The Structural Relationship between Social Participation, Social Support, Empowerment and Quality of Life in Vietnamese Migrant Women in Jeonbuk

한국 사회에서 결혼이주여성의 증가와 더불어 이들에 대한 사회적 관심이 높아지고 있는 것은 바람직한 현상이다. 2017년 말 국내 체류 외국인 수가 218만 명을 넘어섰고, 결혼이주여성도 점차 증가하고 있다. 결혼이주 여성 중에서 베트남 출신은 중국 다음으로 많은데 비해서 이들에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 결혼이주여성은 우리사회의 구성원으로서 그들의 삶의 질 향상은 우리 모두의 당면 문제다. 이 연구는 베트남 출신 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 사회적 참여, 사회적 지지, 임파워먼트 및 삶의 질에 대한 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 했다. 이를 위해 전북지역 베트남 출신 결혼이주여성 171명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문결과 이들의 사회적 참여, 사회적 지지 및 삶의 질의 구조적 관계에서 임파워먼트는 삶의 질에 유의한 영향을 주었으며, 사회적 지지는 삶의 질에 유의하였다. 사회적 참여와 삶의 질의 관계에서 사회적 지지가 삶의 질로 가는 경로에서 유의한 직접효과, 간접효과가 있었다. 전북지역 베트남 출신 결혼이주여성의 임파워먼트는 삶의 질의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 유의한 영향이 있으며, 사회적 지지는 삶의 질 향상을 위한 중요한 변인으로 나타났다. 이들은 임파워먼트 향상을 통해서 사회적으로 다양한 지지를 받아 스스로 자신의 역량을 통해 주체적 삶을 추구할 수 있도록 하는 역량강화는 중요함을 알 수 있다.

This study is to analyse the structural relationship of social participation, social support, empowerment and quality of life among Vietnamese marriage immigrant women in Jeonbuk province. The research aims to find the structural relationship of social participation, social support, empowerment and quality of life among Vietnamese marriage immigrant women. The results are as following: In the structural relationship of social participation, social support, empowerment and quality of life among Vietnamese marriage immigrant women in Jeonbuk province, Social support has a significant impact on the quality of life(β=.414 p=.017). Social support is also significant with empowerment(β=.844 p=.006), which is significant with quality of life(β=.462 p=.006). In the relation of social support and quality of life, direct effect and indirect effect were found to have significance on the path of empowerment to quality of life(direct effect size: .411, p=.017, indirect effect size: .390, p=.001, total effect size: .804, p=.001). However, social participation had effects on quality of life by intervention of cultural adaptation is no significant difference in quality of life. Based on the study, program has to be provided for Vietnamese marriage immigrant women participating in social integration and diverse social participation to receive social support. Vietnamese Marriage immigrant women have to form the identity and reinforce the capability by participating various cultural programs. Through this process, the local community can be transformed into a multicultural community through human interaction with local social members. In addition, providing an environment for Vietnamese marriage immigrant women such as continuous independent meeting, the quality of life for Vietnamese marriage immigrant women could be improved by activating social participation.
