중등 국어과 교육 내용과 국립한글박물관 상설 전시의 상호연관성 연구

A study on the interrelationship between Contents of Korean Language Education in secondary schools and The Permanent Exhibition of National Hangeul Museum

국립한글박물관은 한글과 한글문화의 가치를 보존․확산․재창조하는 것을 목표로 2014년 10월 9일에 개관하였다. 한글박물관에 기대되는 다양한 기능 중 하나는 한글과 한글문화에 관한 교육적 기능이며 실제로 한글박물관은 교육 대상을 유아, 초등학생, 중고등학생, 성인, 외국인으로 나누어 교육 프로그램을 기획․운영하고 있다. 그러나 중고등학생을 대상으로 삼고 있는 교육 프로그램은 상대적으로 빈약한 편이어서 교육 프로그램의 전체 참여자 중에 중고등학생 참여자는 약 10%에 그친다. 이 연구는 중고등학생 관람객이 학교에서 교과서를 통해 평면적으로 익힌 한글에 관한 지식을 한글 박물관에서 입체적으로 재구성할 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있다는 관점에서 한글박물관 상설 전시 ≪한글이 걸어온 길≫의 내용과 중등 국어과 교육과정의 한글 관련 교육 내용을 분석하고 상호연관성을 논증한 연구이다. 이 과정에서 중등 국어과 교육과정의 내용 중에 상설 전시의 내용과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 있는 내용을 성취기준을 중심으로 다섯 가지 범주(① 한글의 창제 원리와 관련된 내용, ② 국어의 통시적 변천과 관련된 내용, ③ 국어의 공시적 변이와 관련된 내용, ④ 국어의 규범성과 관련된 내용, ⑤ 국어에 대한 태도 형성과 관련된 내용)로 가려내고, 각 범주와 관련된 상설 전시의 내용을 구체적으로 밝혔다. 이는 한글박물관의 상설 전시에 대한 교육적 재해석의 과정이자 훗날 중고등학생들을 대상으로 한 박물관 교육 프로그램이나 해설 시나리오를 개발하는 데 요구되는 기초적 연구의 성격을 지닌다. 이를 토대로 중고등학생 대상의 한글박물관 교육 프로그램이 보다 활성화되기를 기대한다.

National Hangeul Museum was opened on October 9, 2014 to proclaim values of Hangeul-The Korean alphabet was created by King Sejong in 1443. Through Its the permanent exhibition-The Journey that Hangeul Went Through-that explores the history, present and future of Hangeul, National Hangeul Museum provides the opportunity for visitors to increase their understanding of Hangeul I think that the greater part of the permanent exhibition is related to the Grammar Educational Contents in Secondary School Curriculum of Korean Language Education. It suggests the possibility that National Hangeul Museum can be used for an educational space to help student visitors understand Hangeul. In the first half of this paper, from the above point of view, I analyzed the permanent exhibition of National Hangeul Museum and the contents of Korean Grammar Curriculum. In the second half, I showed the strong interrelationship between the permanent exhibition and the Grammar Educational Contents. In the last part, I introduced specific collections and contents of the permanent Exhibition that can be used for an educational resource.
