자폐스펙트럼장애의 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델에 대한 고찰

A Review on Focused Intervention Practices and Comprehensive Treatment Models in Autism Spectrum Disorder

미국에서는 자폐스펙트럼장애를 가진 아동과 청소년을 위한 중재를 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델의 두 가지 유형으로 구분하고 있으며 증거기반실제가 강조됨에 따라 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델을 유효성 수준에 따라 분류한 정보도 제공되고 있다. 최근에 2권의 국내 저서가 자폐스펙트럼장애의 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델을 소개하였는데 그 내용이 다소 비일관적이고 제한적인 측면이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 먼저 자폐스펙트럼장애의 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델을 고찰하고, 그 다음 고찰내용을 국내 저서 및 미국 문헌과 관련지어 논의하였다. 마지막으로 고찰내용과 논의를 근거로 향후 국내 관련 연구 및 과제에서 고려할 사항들을 제시하였다. 이는 국내에서 자폐스펙트럼장애의 단일중재전략과 종합중재모델에 대한 체계적이고 포괄적인 정보를 제공하기 위한 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

In the United States, there are two types of interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder: One is focused intervention practices and the other is comprehensive treatment models. As evidence-based practices have been emphasized, information on classification of focused intervention practices and comprehensive treatment models according to the level of efficacy is also being provided. Recently, two domestic books introduced both focused intervention practices and comprehensive treatment models; however, the contents are somewhat inconsistent and limited. Therefore, this study first reviewed the literature related to both types of interventions and then discussed the content reviewed in relation with two domestic books and related U.S. literature. Finally, several suggestions for future related domestic research and tasks were presented based on the content reviewed and discussion. These are expected to be used as the basis for research on providing systematic and comprehensive information on focused intervention practices and comprehensive treatment models in autism spectrum disorder.
