대학병원 전담간호사의 역할갈등과 직무 스트레스가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Role Conflict and Job Stress on Job Satisfaction of Physician Assistant Nurses in University Hospitals

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting job satisfaction related to role conflict and job stress of the physician assistant nurses in university hospitals. Methods: A total of 112 nurses from three university hospitals participated in a survey using self-report questionnaires from August 28 to September 14, 2017. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson s correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 24.0 for Windows. Results: There was a statistically significant difference between the job satisfaction, marital status, working career as a nurse, average daily working hours, duty on duty, in charge of medical department, having formal education related to the physician assistant nurses, having operating rule related to the task (p<.05). Job satisfaction significantly showed negative correlations with role conflict and job stress but role conflict had a significant positive correlation with job stress (p<.001). Significant factors affecting on job satisfaction of physician assistant nurses were job stress, role conflict, formal education related to the physician assistant nurses, average daily working hours (8 hrs) and operating rule related to the task. They showed the 68.8% explanatory power. Conclusion: It is necessary to clarify the scopes and domains of nursing service and to provide a legal and institutional support system for nursing specialization in order to reduce job conflict and role stress of physician assistant nurses.
