본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 관계적 공격성이 사이버불링 경향성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 공감 능력의 매개 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구를 위해 J도에 있는 중학교 1, 2학년 학생 450명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 437부를 회수해 395부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 연구를 위한 자료 분석은 SPSS 18.0을 통한 기술통계분석을 실시하였으며, Amos 20.0을 활용한 확인적 요인 분석, 경로 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 첫째, 관계적 공격성이 사이버불링 경향성에 미치는 경로 분석은 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생의 관계적 공격성이 사이버불링 경향성에 미치는 영향에서 공감 능력의 간접 효과를 통해 공감 능력의 매개 효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 사이버 상에서 외현적으로 드러나지 않는 관계적 공격성 양상에 관심을 기울이고, 사이버 상에서 문제가 야기되는 청소년 문제의 원인을 이해하며 긍정적인 변화를 이끌기 위한 공감 능력의 주요한 역할에 따른 시사점을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the Relationship Aggression on the Cyberbullying Tendency of middle school students and to verify the mediating effect of Empathy. For the study, 450 first and second graders in middle school in J-do were surveyed, , and 395 responses were used for final analysis. Data analysis for the study was conducted with confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using Amos 20.0. First, there was a significant positive correlation between the path analysis of relational aggression and cyberbullying tendency. Second, the mediating effect of empathy ability was confirmed through the indirect effect of empathy ability in the influence of the relationship aggression of middle school students on cyberbullying tendency. Based on the results of this study, we focused on aspects of relational aggression that are not exposed externally on the Internet and the causes of youth issues caused by cyber problems, and discussed implications for the main role of empathy in leading positive changes.
