프로젝트 기반 학습법이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 문제해결 능력, 간호과정 수행능력에 미치는 효과

The Effects of Project-Based Learning on Critical Thinking Disposition, Problem Solving Ability, Nursing Process Performance for Nursing Students

오늘날 환경의 변화에 따라 대학교육에 대한 개선요구도가 점차 커지면서, 과거 지식전달 중심 교육에서 실제적인 문제를 인식하고 해결할 수 있는 학습자 중심으로 변화되고 있다. 그 중 프로젝트 기반 학습법은 학생들의 문제해결과 의사결정 능력과 종합적 사고를 길러주는 학습법으로 본 연구는 프로젝트 기반 학습법을 간호과정 수업에 적용하여 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결 능력, 간호과정 수행능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 시도되었다. 간호과정 교과목을 수강하는 간호 대학생 2학년 107명을 대상으로 프로젝트 기반 학습법 적용 전후의 차이를 측정한 단일군 전후 유사실험 설계로 진행되었다. 연구결과 프로젝트 기반 학습법을 적용한 후 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력, 간호과정 수행능력이 증가하였으며, 간호과정 수행능력은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이를 통해 프로젝트 기반 학습법이 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 문제해결 능력, 간호과정 수행능력을 증진하는 효과적인 학습법임을 확인하였다.

In this paper due to the demand of improvement in university education, teaching methods are changing from simply information conveyance to student centered problem identifying and solving. Thus to identify the educational effect of creative project based teaching method, nursing classes were held to clarify the changes on critical thinking disposition, problem solving and ability of accomplishment in nursing programs. The method was held on a total of 107 sophomore students of the nursing department using one group pretest-posttest design indicating the difference on critical thinking disposition, problem solving and ability of accomplishment in the nursing program. The result clarified a positive effect on all three units after using the creative project based teaching method and was statistically significant. Therefore, the effect of creative project based teaching method used in nursing subjects was verified and indicates significance in increasing competency of the nursing department university students.
