2015 개정 교육과정의 ‘<탐구주제 및 활동(예시)>’ 적용 양태에 나타난 「통합사회」교과서 내용 개발의 문제

The Problems of 「Integrated Social Studies」 Textbook Contents Development Focused on the Applied ‘<Inquiry Problems and its Activities (Examples)>’ in 2015 Revised Social Studies Curriculum

「통합사회」사회과 교과서 내용의 질은 2015 현행 교육과정의 취지와 목적에 부합하는 창의적인‘탐구주제’와 ‘학습활동’의 개발에 달려있다고 할 수 있다. 현행 교육과정 체제에서 ‘<탐구주제 및 활동(예시)>’의 추가는 교과서 개발자를 비롯한 교육주체들의 이를 참조하여 교육과정의 취지에 타당한 교육 실천을 고양하기 위한 것이라 할 수 있다. 그러나, 사회과 교과서 출판 과정을 조명한 선행연구들에 비추어 볼 때에 ‘<탐구주제 및 활동(예시)>’는 사회과 교과서 내용 개발에 어떤 변화를 미칠 수 있는 요소가 될 수 있는 가능성이 있음에도 이에 대한 탐색이 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 총 5종의 「통합사회」 검정 교과서에 나타난‘<탐구주제 및 활동(예시)>’의 적용 양태를 탐구함으로써 사회과 교과서 내용 개발의 양태를 이해하고자 하였다. 분석의 객관성을 확보하고자, ‘<탐구주제 및 활동(예시)>’의 ‘내용’, ‘자료’, 그리고 ‘활동’의 3요소별 기준으로 1단계 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 각 예시들 단위로 재범주화여 적용 유형을 나누었다. ‘수용’과 ‘부분수용’적용 유형의 높은 경향성이 검정 교과서 전반에서 나타나고 있다. 이러한 분석결과는 사회과 교과서 내용 개발에서 국가 수준 교육과정에 대한 강한 의존성을 보여주는 것이며, 이로 인하여 검정 교과서 간의 내용 획일성 문제를 야기하고 있음을 보여준다.

The quality of social studies textbook depend on development of creative inquiry problems and its learning activities for purpose of 2015 revised curriculum. Each Inquiry Problems and its Activity is a reference for executors and performers’ practice guide. But taken account of previous custom about the development of social studies authorized textbook, Each Inquiry Problems and its Activity in 「Integrated Social Studies」 curriculum could have an influence on contents of 「Integrated Social Studies」 textbook but have not researched about it. The purpose of this study is try to build the base of understanding about conditions of development of social studies textbook through the analysis of social studies textbook contents. It try to analyze the contents all 5 sorts of supplied authorized 「Integrated Social Studies」 textbook. For reliability between analysts, each Inquiry Problems and its Activity can be classified Contents factor( C ), Material factor( M ) and Activity factor( A ) and Inquiry Problems and its Activity and the analysis of factor unit is base on the analysis of each example of Inquiry Problems and its Activity applied 「Integrated Social Studies」 subject contents. All the 「Integrated Social Studies」 authorized textbook is revealed the high disposition of Adaption and ‘partial adaption’, In conclusion, it is necessary for reconsideration on detail curriculum structure and alternative system of publish textbook, taken the circumstances into consideration of the strong controlling the cultural climate of state level curriculum and the dull uniformity of 「Integrated Social Studies」 textbooks contents.
