시대의 흐름에 따른 피아노 페다고지의 재조명

The New Light upon Piano Pedagogy on the Times

본 연구는 피아노 페다고지에 대한 올바른 이해를 도움으로써 국내 대학에 피아노 페다고지의 새로운 학문이 올바르게 정착할 수 있도록 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향을 제안하는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 피아노 페다고지가 어떤 과정을 거쳐 발달되었는지 살펴보고, 미국 주요 학술단체에서 제시하는 피아노 페다고지전공 석사과정 가이드라인과 미국 대학 3개교에서 운영하는 석사과정의 교과과정에 기초하여 국내 대학에서 운영하는 석사과정의 교과과정을 비교해 보았다. 그 결과 새로운 학문의 도입과정에서 돌출된 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 대학 교수들의 피아노 페다고지에 대한 재인식이 필요하고, 석사과정 운영에서의 문제점에 대한 개선이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 바탕으로 국내 피아노 페다고지 분야의 당면한 과제를 몇 가지 제안하였다. 앞으로 대학과 학회가 서로 협력하여 피아노 페다고지의 새로운 학문이 발전할 수 있기를 기대한다.

This study is aimed, through right understanding of piano pedagogy, to guide the settlement of the new field of piano pedagogy in our country. For this purpose, it is analyzed to see how the piano pedagogy has been developed till now. Analysis is also made to compare the curriculum of master course in our country on the basis of the master degree program in 3 American universities and the guideline of master degree of piano pedagogy from the main studies in America. I came to the conclusion that there need a new understanding of professors of piano pedagogy and an improvement of the problems in the operation of master degree program. Some urgent tasks are suggested on the basis of these problems. It is expected that there would be a growth in the new field of piano pedagogy in cooperation of colleges and the studies.
