Field measurement method of heavy/soft impact sound pressure level using impact ball have been used in Korea, Japan and Canada. Also this field measurement method is being discussed in ISO. It is reported that heavy/soft impact sound pressure level was varied by the sound field condition of receiving room such as sound absorption power and room volume. In this study, rubber ball sound pressure level was measured vertically connected reverberation chamber and time weighting function in analyzer changed from Slow to Peak . In order to control the receiving sound field condition, sound absorption power was changed by polyester sound absorption blanket with air space and glass wool. For the comparison of receiving sound field correction method, normalized and standardized maximum sound pressure level regulated in ISO 16032 and ISO/CD 10140-3 Amd 2 method were applied. Measurement results show that rubber impact sound pressure level was changed by the sound field condition. In order to minimized this receiving sound field condition of rubber ball sound, ISO 10140-3 Amd 2 method with Fast time weighting function shall be applied.
