만화를 이용한 AIDS교육이 초등학교 6학년 아동의 AIDS지식과 태도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of AIDS Education by Using Cartoon on AIDS Related Knowledge and Attitude in 6th Grade Elementary School Children

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of AIDS education using cartoon on AIDS-related knowledge and attitude in 6th grade elementary school children. The subjects were 160 6th graders and the experiment was three-hour sessions of AIDS education using cartoon from March 21 to April 4, 2000. The data were ana|yzed by x2-test, t-test by using SAS package program and me results are as follows : 1. Hypothesis I The score of AIDS-related knowledge in experimental group will be higher than that of in control group. was supported (t=-14.49, p=0.0001). 2. Hypothesis Ⅱ “ The score of AIDS-related attitude in experimental group will be higher than that of in control group. was also supported (t=-6.93, p=0.0001). These findings indicate that AIDS education using cartoon is effective on AIDS-related knowledge and attitude in elementary school children.
