4차 산업혁명과 대학교육의 미래 - 국내·외 혁신 사례를 중심으로

The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Future of University Education

연구목적: 본 연구는 우리나라와 국외 주요국의 4차 산업혁명 관련 대학교육의 혁신사례를 종합적으로 고찰하고 그 공통점과 차이점을 비교·분석하여 우리나라 대학교육에의 시사점을 찾고자 연구되었다. 연구방법: 이에 주제 관련 문헌을 질적자료로 보고 이를 종합적으로 분석하는 Walsh & Downe(2004)의 질적 메타분석을 사용하였다. 분석 대상 문헌은 4차 산업혁명과 교육 관련 총 200여 편의 초록과 목차 리뷰 후 초점 문헌인 단행본 9종, 정책 보고서 16종, 학술지 논문 31종이다. 연구결과: 첫째, 우리나라의 4차 산업혁명 대응 대학교육 관련 교육정책과 대학사례를 살펴본 결과, 정부는 재정지원 사업으로, 개별 대학들은 그 사업에 맞추어 교과목 개편, 교수방법, 교육 환경 구축으로 대응하고 있다. 둘째, 국외 주요국의 대응 사례 분석 결과, 정부 정책 대응의 공통적인 방향성은 미래 핵심기술 산업화 중심 대학교육이었고, 개별 대학의 대응 양태는 학제적 교육과정, 학생 개별화 관리 시스템, 실험적 다원화 체제를 보였다. 셋째, 국내외 논의에서 나타나는 공통점은 4차 산업혁명이 ‘핵심 동인’이며, ‘이중적 현상’으로 ‘대응 요구’ 과제로 작용하여 ‘인재 양성 방안’을 내놓게 만드는 구조였다. 차이점은 해외 주요 국가들의 대응이 포괄성과 연계성이 강한 반면 우리나라는 일원화 및 개별성을 보인다는 점이었다. 결론: 이에 우리나라의 4차 산업혁명 관련 대학교육 대응 정책과 노력 간의 효과성과 효율성을 높이는 연계와 포괄의 권한을 갖는 기구를 재설정할 것과 나누어져 있는 예산 및 지원 기관의 스코프를 점검하고 중장기적이며 균형 있는 대응책을 마련할 것을 제안하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the cases of the 4th Industrial Revolution related university education in Korea and other countries, and examined the similarities and differences between them in order to find implications for Korean university education. Method: A meta-analysis of Walsh and Downe(2004) was used to comprehensively analyze the literature and cases. After the Review of over 200 literature, were 9 Books, 16 policy reports, and 31 papers analyzed intensively. Results: According to the analysis, the government responded with governmental university aid, and universities responded with reforming curriculum and rebuilding educational environments. seconds, the common direction of government policy in foreign countries was the core technology oriented university education, and Individual universities attempted interdisciplinary curriculum, individualized student management system, experimental pluralization system. Conclusion: It was suggested to reset the organizations that have the authority of linking and to check the scope of the budget and projects.
