교수자 자가역량 진단도구 개발을 위한 사례 연구

A Case Study on the Development of the Professor’s Self-Competency Diagnostic Tool

본 연구는 기존의 교수학습센터에서 개별적으로 고안하여 사용하고 있는 교수역량 진단도구 활용 사례를 비교, 분석하여 표준화된 교수자 자가역량 진단도구로 사용할 수 있도록 개발을 하는 데 있다. 이렇게 개발된 교수자 자가역량 진단도구는 교수자의 역량을 평가하는 데 활용하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 강의평가 문항 영역과 일치시키고자 하였다. 또한 교수학습센터의 교수지원 프로그램과 교수자 역량의 영역을 연계하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 강의기본역량은 5개의 중분류 역량(7문항)으로, 강의준비역량은 7개의 중분류 역량(8문항)으로, 강의실행역량은 5개의 중분류 역량(8문항)으로, 강의평가역량은 4개의 중분류 역량(7문항)으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 교수역량 진단도구와 강의평가 문항의 공통 영역은 기본역량, 강의준비역량, 강의실행역량, 강의평가역량으로 구성되었다. 셋째, 교수역량 4가지 영역에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 교수학습센터의 교수지원 프로그램은 7개로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 4년제 대학을 비롯하여 전문대학에서도 모두 활용 가능한 표준화된 교수역량 진단도구를 개발하는 데 있으며, 특히 강의평가 문항 및 교수학습센터의 교수지원 프로그램과 연계하여 교수 개인별 맞춤형 프로그램을 개발, 운영하는 데 도움을 주고자 하였다.

This study is to develop the professor’s competency self-diagnostic tool that is individually designed and used in the center of teaching and learning. We would utilize the developed professor’s competency self-diagnostic tool to evaluate the self-competence of the instructor. Also we have linked the faculty support program and faculty competency of the CTL. The results of this study are as follows. First, the teaching basic competences were composed of 5 divisions and 7 questions ; the teaching preparation competences were composed of 7 divisions and 8 questions ; the teaching action competences were composed of 5 divisions and 8 questions ; the teaching evaluation competences were composed 4 divisions and 7 questions. Second, the common areas of the professor’s self--competency diagnostic tool and the teaching assessment checklist comprised the teaching basic competences, the teaching preparation competences, the teaching evaluation competences. Third, the faculty support programs of the CTL, which has a positive influence on the areas of the professor’s self -competency diagnosis, turned out to have 7 common faculty support programs that positively affect all four areas of the professor’s competency.
