조선업 근로자의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인

Affecting Factors on Depression among Shipyard Workers

본 연구는 조선업 근로자의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여, 근로자의 우울감소를 위한 정신증진 프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도되었다. 조선업 근로자 183명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 일반적 특성, 직무만족도, 자아존중감 및 우울에 관한 자료 수집하였다. 자료 분석은SPSS 20.0 프로그램에 의해 단계적 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 조선업 근로자의 우울은연령, 결혼상태, 월수입, 근무경력, 흡연에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 직무만족도와 자아존중감과 우울간의 상관관계는 직무만족도와 자아존중감은 양의 상관관계였으며, 직무만족도와 우울은 음의 상관관계였고, 자아존중감과 우울은 음의 상관관계로 나타났다. 즉, 직무만족도가 높을수록 자아존중감은높았으나 우울은 통계적으로 낮게 나타났다. 단계적 회계분석 결과, 조선업 근로자의 우울에 영향을미치는 요인은 자아존중감, 흡연, 직무만족도로 나타났으며, 설명력은 18.2%이었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 조선업 근로자의 우울을 감소를 위한 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 여겨진다.

The purpose of this study was identify the factors affecting the depression of shipyard workers and to utilize it as a basic data for the development of mental development program for depression of workers. The data were collected using questionnaire from the sample of 183 shipyard workers. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that consisted of general characteristics, Job satisfaction, Self-esteem and depression. Data analysis was performed using stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS 20.0 program. As a result, there were significant differences according to age, marital status, monthly income, work experience and smoking. The relationship between job satisfaction, self-esteem and depression was positively correlated with job satisfaction and self-esteem. Job satisfaction and depression were negatively correlated, and self-esteem and depression were negatively correlated. In other words, the higher job satisfaction, the higher the self-esteem but the lower the depression statistically. As a result of multiple regression, self-esteem, smoking and job satisfaction were the factors affecting depressing of shipyard workers, and explanatory power was 18.2%. Based on the results of this study, it is considered that continuous research is needed to reduced the depression of shipyard workers.
