탈모 관련 천연물의 특허 동향 분석

Analysis of the patent trends for natural components related to hair loss

현대인의 탈모는 노화나 유전적인 요인뿐 아니라 각종 환경오염, 업무의 스트레스, 식생활 변화에 따른 호르몬 분비에 이상 등의 후천적 요인의 영향이 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이러한 탈모를 예방 혹은 완화하기 위한 제품들이 소개되고 있으나, 인체 부작용 및 지속적 안정성 등에 문제가 있어 제한적으로 사용되고 있다. 이러한, 문제를 해결하기 위해서 천연물 성분을 활용한 다양한 탈모 예방 및 완화 제품이 연구개발 되고 있으나, 상대적으로 관련 기술 및 연구개발 동향을 파악할 수 있는 기초 자료가 부족해 개발에 필요한 천연물 선정과 선정 천연물별 개발 방향을 파악하기 어려운 연구 환경이다. 이에 탈모방지 또는 탈모완화, 양모, 육모 등의 효과에 기 적용된 천연물 성분 69종을 선정하고, 선정된 천연물의 각 성분별, 연도별, 국가별 특허 동향(1984~2018년)을 분석하였으며, 가장 많이 활용된 성분들에 대한 상세 분석을 실시하였다.

The hair loss of modern people has been steadily increasing due to internally or externally factors such as aging and genetic effect as well as environmental pollution, working stress, abnormalities in hormone secretion by dietary changes. Although Various hair goods have been developed to prevent or mitigate the hair loss, they have been limitedly used because of problems such as human side effect and persistent stability. In order to solve some limitations, versatile products for hair loss prevention and mitigation based on the natural ingredients have been researched and developed. However, It is difficult to get the selection of natural substances and the development direction related to natural goods for hair loss because there are not enough basic data to understand the related technology and R&D trends. In this study, 69 kinds of natural ingredients were selected for the prevention and mitigation of hair loss, hair growth and hair seeding. The patent trends were analyzed as functions of the selected ingredients, year, and country, in the range from 1984 to 2018. Also, detailed analysis data on the most used natural components are presented.
