대학부설 과학영재교육원 학생 선발 실태 및 운영 개선 방안

The identification system of Gifted Students in the Science-Gifted Education Center at universities in Korea

본고는 최근 영재 교육에서 영재선발에서의 고려해야할 쟁점을 분석하고 개선 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 2015학년을 기준으로 전국의 대학부설 과학영재교육원에서 진행하고 있는 선발 제도를 수집 분석하여 하였고, 관찰 추천제 적용의 현실적 가능성을 가늠하기 위해 청주교육대학 부설 과학영재교육원의 관찰 평가 사례를 살펴보았다. 지필평가와 관찰평가가 서로 상보적으로 기능할 때 좀 더 타당한 영재선발이 가능할 것이다. 특히 청주교육대학 부설 과학영재교육원에서 실행하고 있는 보조 교사제, 관찰 기록 방법 및 학생 DB 등이 관찰평가를 의미 있게 실행하는데 필요한 실천적 지식으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this paper was to suggest an improvement plan of the identification system of Gifted Students in the Science-Gifted Education Center at universities in Korea. Mainly the Identification Results by Class Observations and Nominations in the Science-Gifted Education Center at Cheongju National University over the last 16 years was analyzed. And some of the major issues associated with the science-gifted education was discussed.
