일반계 고등학생의 탐구 설계 역량강화를 위한 일차과학문헌 활용 독립연구 설계 프로그램의 적용

Application of the Primary Scientific Literature for enhancing Inquiry Design Capability of High school Students

본 연구는 일반계 고등학생들이 독립연구를 계획하고 수행하는 능력을 신장시킬 수 있도록 일차과학문헌 분석 교수-학습 프로그램을 개발하고, 이를 소집단 활동 기반으로 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 일차과학문헌의 형식 및 내용을 분석하는 활동 중심 교수-학습 프로그램을 개발하고, 독립연구 수행능력 검사와 탐구 설계 능력 검사, 만족도 설문을 실시하여 프로그램의 적용 효과를 검증하였다. 프로그램 적용 결과 학생들의 문제의 발견, 탐구 설계 능력에서 유의미한 향상이 있었고, 논문의 형식과 내용을 접합으로써 탐구과정에 대한 이해와 자료 탐색에 대한 자신감이 향상되었다. 본 연구를 통해서 독립연구를 설계하는 과정에서 일차과학문헌을 활용하면 주제 선정과 과학적 절차에 대한 인식 수준이 높아져서 학생들의 연구 능력이 향상될 수 있다는것을 확인하였다. 용어의 전문성 때문에 다소 어려움을 겪지만 일차과학문헌의 형식과 내용 탐색은 독립연구 경험이 부족한 일반계 고등학교 학생들의 독립연구계획과 수행과정에 안내자의 역할을 수행하게 될 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching-learning program that included analysing the primary scientific literature which improve the independent research ability of high school students to plan and perform independent research, and to apply it to the based on small group activities and to verify its effectiveness. To do this, we developed activity - centered teaching - learning programs to analyze the format and contents of primary scientific literature, and tested the effectiveness of the program by conducting independent research performance test, inquiry design ability test and satisfaction questionnaire. As a result of applying the program, there was a significant improvement in students problem finding and inquiry design ability, and there was an improvement in self - confidence about understanding the inquiry process and searching through the format and contents of the thesis. In this study, it was confirmed that students research ability can be improved by using the primary scientific literature in the process of designing the independent research, the awareness level of the topic selection and the scientific procedure is improved. Although it has been somewhat difficult due to the expertise of the terminology, the format and content search of the primary scientific literature will serve as a guide to independent research planning and implementation of general high school students lacking independent research experience.
