The purpose of this study was to investigate pre-service teachers perception on the teacher education theory program of the curricula for teaching profession and the pedagogy test of the examination for employing school teachers. For success of this purpose, structured questionnaire were administered and data analyzed to 366 students in Seowon University. The major results of the study was as follows. First, majority of the respondents were satisfied with the teacher education theory program of the curricula for teaching profession, but were not satisfied with the course registration system. Second, 64.2% of the respondents answered that they will participate in private education programs, and 59.1% of the respondents answered that they will depend on private education programs because the only instruction of teacher s college is insufficient to prepare the Teacher Appointment Examination. Third, regarding the usefulness of Seowon Education Special Lecture , 85.5% of the respondents answered this program helped them when they prepared the Teacher Appointment Examination. Lastly, majority of the respondents opposed the new pedagogy test of the examination for employing school teachers.
