The objective of this study was to understand the high school physical education teachers cognition on Physical Activity Promotion System(PAPS). For this study based on qualitative research method was conducted by researchers in Seoul. To achieve this research purpose, four high school physical education teachers are purposefully selected. Data were collected and analyzed through in-depth interviews of four high school physical education teachers. The collected data were researcher s journal, in-depth interview data, focus group interview and discussion data and document. These data described and analyzed in terms of Spradley s work(1980) including domain analysis, category analysis, component analysis respectively. In this study, the researcher used to ensure of trustworthiness, such as member checking , auditing , avd triangulation . The major findings of this study suggest that the high school physical education teachers cognition on PAPS has had a positive impact on students physical fittness and health achievement. In conclusion, This study suggested the tasks for the PAPS educational role and future development which are potentially expected.
