제주대학교 교·사대간 교류협력 현황과 과제 - 2008년～2011년 교류협력을 중심으로 -

A Present State and Problem of Exchange and Cooperation between Teachers College and College of Education in Jeju National University

이 글에서 연구자는 초ㆍ중등 교원양성 체제 구축 차원에서, 2008년에서 2011년도까지 제주대학교 교육대학과 사범대학 간에 이루어진 교류협력의 현황을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 교ㆍ사대 교류협력의 과제를 제시하였다. 교육과정 운영, 연수 활동, 학술 활동, 기타 행사를 범주로 교류협력의 내용, 목적, 주체, 방식을 살펴보았다. 검토한 결과, 교ㆍ사대 교류협력의 과제는 세 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 교ㆍ사대 교류협력이 내재적 고민보다는 외재적 요구에 의해서 이루어진 경우가 많았다. 교원양성 체제 속에서 중요하게 생각하는 인간상 및 교사상, 그리고 다른 교원양성기관과 차별되는 의제를 설정하여 교류협력의 목적을 공유해야 한다. 둘째, 교ㆍ사대 교류협력은 기여적 방식이 많았다. 공동 목표를 궁리할 필요 없이 각자 가지고 있는 능력과 자원을 나눌 수 있는 손쉬운 교류협력 방식이기 때문이다. 하지만 이 방식으로는 질적 변화를 이룰 수 없다. 융합적 교류협력 방식으로 새롭고 다양한 구조를 만들어 내는 환경을 마련해야 한다. 셋째, 교ㆍ사대 교류협력 주체를 살펴보면, 학생 간 교류보다는 교수 간 교류가 많았다. 교ㆍ사대 문화를 이해하고 서로 연계된 교원양성체제를 구축하기 위해서는 중요한 교육 주체인 학생 간의 교류협력이 절실히 필요하다.

The study aims to examine a present state and problem of exchange and cooperation between Teachers College and College of Education in Jeju National University from 2008 to 2011, and suggest problems concerning it. The content, purpose, main agent, and forms of the exchange and cooperation were examined centered on categories such as curriculum implementation, training activity, academic work, and several events. Examining them reveals problems of the exchange and cooperation as follows. First, a common purpose of the exchange and cooperation should be established in context of an elementary and secondary school teacher educating system. Second, new and various structures should be produced by a fused form of exchange and cooperation. Third, for an establishment of teacher educating system which can link between teachers college and college of education, the exchange and cooperation between two college students needs urgently.
