이 연구에서는 발명 영재 교육의 개념과 발명 영재 교육 운영 체제 탐색을 기초로 발명 영재 교육의 활성화를 위한 실천 전략을 제시하였다. 탐색의 결과 발명 영재의 해석 범위 및 다양한 교육적 가치와 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 발명 영재 교육의 성공을 위해 관여하고 있는 체제의 특수성과 중요하게 인식되어야 할 사항들을 탐색하였다. 이러한 탐색을 기초로 연구자는 발명 영재 교육의 활성화를 위한 실천 전략을 제시하였다. 그 전략으로서 발명 영재 교육의 특수성을 이해할 필요가 있음과 엘리트 교육인 발명 영재 교육은 일반 기술 교육과는 다른 교육 내용, 방법, 행정, 지원 체제를 필요로 하며, 이를 이끌고 나갈 전문가로서 발명 영재 교사 양성을 위한 교사양성 단계의 교육 및 현직 교사 연수가 강화될 필요가 있고, 더불어 다양하고 질적으로 우수한 교육 프로그램 개발 및 유치원, 초등, 중증, 고등 교육간의 연계 교육이 필요함을 제시하였다.
The purposes of this study were to inquire the meaning of invention education for the gifted and action strategies to improve the education. the meaning, various educational value and character concerning invention education for the gifted were identified. And a specialty of system and important contents related with invention education for the gifted were identified. And then action strategies for improving the invention education for the gifted was suggested. The suggested strategies were as follows: First, technology educators have to understand the character of the invention education for the gifted. second, new system for the invention education for the gifted as the elite education is needed. third, pre-service and in-service education for the invention education for the gifted are needed. fourth, educational programs for judging and teaching the gifted in invention have to be developed. fifth, the invention education for the gifted in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school have to be connected.
