중학생의 조화로운 학력신장 지원방안

A Study of Supporting Plans to Improve Harmonious Educational Achievement of Middle School Students

이 연구의 목적은 조화로운 학력과 학력신장에 대한 개념과 의미를 밝히고 중학생들의 종합적인 학력신장을 지원하는 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 C도 43개 중학교의 1,133명의 교사를 대상으로 학력신장 체제에 대한 인식과 요구를 조사하여 강점과 취약점을 분석하였다. 이 연구에서는 조화로운 학력을 통합된 교과학습을 통해서 길러지는 마음의 성향으로 정의하고, 학력신장을 교과학습을 통해서 획득되는 학생들의 인지적, 정의적, 고차적 능력을 양적으로 확대하는 것일 뿐만 아니라 질적으로 심화시키는 것으로 규정했다. 연구 결과, 제시된 학력신장 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조화로운 학력준거를 정립해야 한다. 둘째, 맞춤형 교육과정을 마련해야 한다. 셋째, 학력관리 시스템을 구축해야 한다. 넷째, 교사간 협력체제를 조성해야 한다. 다섯째, 컨설팅장학의 체제를 수립해야 한다. 여섯째, 교사들이 수업에 전념할 수 있는 행정체제를 강화해야 한다. 나아가 이 연구는 6가지 학력신장 지원방안에 대한 교육청과 단위학교의 역할을 각각 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to define the concept and meaning of harmonious student achievement and improvement of educational achievement, and provide the integrated support plans of educational achievement for middle school students. A survey was employed to inquire teachers’ perceptions on the improvement system of educational achievement, and analyze its strengths and weaknesses. Population were 1,133 middle school teachers from 43 schools located in C province. For the study, harmonious student achievement was defined as dispositions that would be raised by integrated learning of subjects. Thus, improvement of educational achievement was defined as expanding quantitatively the intellectual, affective and spiritual abilities of students and deepening qualitatively their abilities in accordance. The conclusions drawn from the study were as follows: First, the standard of harmonious student achievement should be established. Second, customized curriculum should be prepared. Third, the improvement system of educational achievement should be implemented. Fourth, collaborative relations amongst teachers should be enforced. Fifth, consulting supervision system should be promoted. Finally, instruction centered administrative system should be created. Also, roles of schools and educational offices based upon those 6 support plans respectively.
