초등 실과의 기술 영역과 연계된 진로교육 프로그램 구안

Planning of Career Education Program Related to Practical Arts Subject in Elementary School: Based on Technology Contents

이 연구는 초등학교 실과 기술영역과 연계된 진로교육 프로그램 개발의 기초를 마련하기 위하여 수행하였다. 이 연구에서는 이종범(2005b)이 제시한 초등학생의 진로개발 영역인 자아인식 영역, 학업 ? 직업 탐색 영역, 진로계획 영역의 세 가지 영역을 바탕으로 교육 프로그램을 구성하였다. 초등 실과 기술영역과 연계된 진로교육 프로그램은 나와 기술, 기술의 세계, 기술 세계의 직업, 기술 세계의 진로 설계의 네 영역, 총 24차시 분량으로 구성하였으며, 각 영역의 세부 활동 주제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 나와 기술 영역은 기술에 대한 나의 태도와 이미지, 나의 직업 적성, 나의 직업 흥미, 기술 분야에 대한 나의 적성과 흥미의 네 개 활동과제로 구성하였다. 둘째, 기술의 세계 영역은 기술의 세계 이해, 기술의 세계 체험의 두 개 활동과제로 구성하였다. 셋째, 기술 세계의 직업 영역은 기술 세계의 일, 기술 세계의 직업 현장 견학, 기술 세계의 직업 탐색, 기술 세계의 직업 전시·발표의 네 개 활동과제로 구성하였다. 넷째, 기술 세계의 진로 설계 영역은 기술 세계의 진로 계획, 기술 세계의 진로 계획 발표, 기술에 대한 나의 태도와 이미지의 세 개 활동과제로 구성하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 진로교육 프로그램의 효과를 검증하는 후속 연구가 요구되며, 초등학교 각 교과와 연계된 진로교육 프로그램 개발이 활성화되기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to prepare the foundation for planning of career education program related to technology contents of practical arts subject in elementary school. In this study career education program was constructed based on the three dimensions of elementary school students career development as self-awareness, education and occupational exploration, and career planning. The career education program related to technology contents of practical arts subject in elementary school was composed of four domains as ‘I & Technology’, ‘The World of Technology’, ‘Vocations of Technology Field’, and ‘Career Planning of Technology Field’. This program was made up 24 class times and the activity tasks were as follow: First, ‘I & Technology’ domain was composed of four activity tasks as ‘My Attitude and Image toward Technology’, ‘My Vocational Aptitude’, ‘My Vocational Interest’, and ‘My Aptitude & Interest in the World of Technology’. Second, ‘The World of Technology’ domain was composed of two activity tasks as ‘Understanding the World of Technology’ and ‘Experience the World of Technology’. Third, ‘Vocations of Technology Field’ domain was composed of four activity tasks as ‘Work of Technology Field’, ‘Field Trip of Technology Field’, ‘Exploring Vocations of Technology Field’, and ‘Vocational Exhibition of Technology Field’. Forth, ‘Career Planning of Technology Field’ domain was composed of three activity tasks as ‘Career Planning of Technology Field’, ‘Presentation Career Planning of Technology Field’ and ‘My Attitude and Image toward Technology’.
