Learner-Oriented Operating Strategy in Informatics of Secondary School

현재 학교에서 이루어지고 있는 제7차 교육과정의 정보교과는 정보과학의 원리 ? 응용 학습을 통한 창의력, 사고력을 신장시키는 교과로서가 아니라 단순히 응용프로그램의 활용측면만을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 진단하고 교육인적자원부는 2007년 제7차 교육과정 개정안을 발표 하여 정보교과에 대한 과학적 접근을 이루고자 하였다. 하지만 이론에 치우치는 경향이 있고, 교수자 · 전공자의 측면에서만 접근이 이루어져 학습자의 입장을 고려하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 정보교과 학문에 대한 인식 및 현행 교육과정과 제7차 교육과정 개정안, 대학교의 교육과정에 대한 학습자의 인식을 조사하고 비교 · 분석하여 학습자 중심 정보교과 운영전략을 제시 한다. 특히 대학교에서 정보교과를 전공중인 학생들의 중등학교 현행 정보교과 교육과정과 제7차 교육과정 개정안에 대한 인식을 확인하며 개발자와 학습자간의 의견 차이를 좁히고자 하였다. 연 구결과 제7차 교육과정 개정안의 정보교과 특성인 원리와 응용에 입각한 정보과학 측면에서 창의력과 사고력을 증진시키는 방안을 학습자의 요구와 조화시키는 전략이 필요함을 나타내었다. 즉, 학습자가 요구하는 교육내용을 중심으로 정보과학의 원리와 응용을 도출하며 창의력과 사고력을 높일 수 있는 교육방법으로 접근하면 교육과정의 목적을 달성할 수 있을 것이며, 학습자 중심의 교수-학습도 가능하게 된다는 것이다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 제시되는 학습자 중심 정보교과 교육과정 운영전략은 제7차 교육과정 개정안을 학교현장에 정착화 하는데 새로운 탐색방법과 방 안에 대한 기초를 제공할 것이다.

The current curriculum in the 7th informatics, which simply highlights the use of applied programs rather than enhancing creativity through learning several principles in information science and thus making it hard to have optimism on the future as a powerhouse in IT. By diagnosing these problems, Education Ministry revised the current curriculum to have a more scientific access to the informatics. However, the curricular revision fails to meet the needs of learners sufficiently because it puts the considerations of theoretical specialists before those of the learners themselves. Therefore, this thesis offers a student oriented informatics operating strategy by comparing and analyzing the overall awareness of learners on informatics, on current curriculum and 7th revised curriculum. Especially, the research tries to bridge the opinion gap between developer and learner by looking into the understanding level of university majors about the current curriculum. By doing so, this thesis will hopefully provide the basis on exploring new approaches and contribute to establishing 7th revised curriculum in school.
