과학캠프 참여학생들의 과학적 태도 및 과학에 대한 인식 분석 - 제주해변과학캠프를 중심으로 -

Analysis on Scientific Attitude and Awareness toward Science of Students to Participate in Science Camp - In focus of Jeju Beach Science Camp -

본 연구의 목적은 제주해변과학캠프 프로그램을 분석하고, 과학캠프 참여 학생들의 과학적 태도와 과학에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위한 것이다. 프로그램 분석은 HASA(Hands ․ Head ․ heart At Science Activity)교육과정 기준안에 근거해 이루어졌다. 제주해변과학캠프 프로그램 분석 결과 탐구 영역은 많은 기본탐구과정기능들을 포함하고 있었다. 또한 지식 영역은 개념 학습에 적합한 활동들이 포함되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 설문 조사 결과 과학캠프 참가학생들은 과학탐구 태도와 과학에 대한 취미적 관심 영역에서 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 또한 이들은 과학캠프 참여에 대해 적극적인 태도를 나타냈다. 이 연구의 결과는 향후 과학캠프 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있어서 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Jeju beach science camp program and to survey scientific attitude and awareness toward science of students to participate in science camp. Also the camp programs were analyzed based on the standard for the HASA curriculum. In the result of analysis on Jeju beach science camp program, the inquiry area included many basic process skills. In addition, it was indicated that the knowledge area included many activities appropriate for concept learning. According to questionnaire survey, the participating students showed positive attitude in attitude to scientific inquiry and leisure interest in science . Also they indicated affirmative attitude in participating science camp. The results of study will be able to be used for the science camp program as the basic materials.
