The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between eye movements when reading multiple controversial documents about a socio-scientific issue according to prior beliefs. Multiple documents was based on two positions (belief-consistent & belief-inconsistent) about nuclear power generation. A set of data were collected from forty nine college and graduate students. The eye movement data of participants who read texts by presenting the two types of controversial documents for nuclear power generation were collected. The collected gaze data were analyzed by the difference of the total reading time, fixation count, fixation duration time. The difference gaze was analyzed.
