유아교사의 교수효능감과 좋은 수업 실행도간의 관계 검증

The Relationship between Teaching Efficacy and Good Teaching Performance of Early Childhood Teachers

본 연구에서는 유아교사를 대상으로 교사의 일반적 배경에 따라 교수효능감과 좋은 수업 실행도의 차이를 조사하고, 교수효능감과 좋은 수업 실행도간의 관련성을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 전라도에 소재한 유치원에 재직 중인 유아교사 219명이며, 연구도구로는 교수효능감과 좋은 수업 실행도 질문지를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고, t-test, 일원변량분석과 Dunncan 사후검증, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 유아교사의 교수효능감은 10년 이상의 경력교사와 40대 이상의 연령교사가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 10년 이상의 경력교사는 좋은 수업 실행도가 높았다. 둘째, 유아교사의 교수효능감과 좋은 수업 실행도간에는 정적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인적 교수효능감이 일반적 교수효능감보다 좋은 수업 실행도에 보다 많은 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아교사의 교수효능감을 높여서 좋은 수업 실행도를 향상시킬 수 있는 바, 교사의 교수효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 교육적 프로그램 및 제도적 지원이 요구된다.

The purposes of this study are to examine differences in teaching efficacy and good teaching performance according to the related variables of early childhood teachers and verify relationship between teaching efficacy and good teaching performance. The subjects include 219 early childhood teachers currently working at kindergartens around Jeolla Provinces. Employed in the research were questionnaires on teaching efficacy and good teaching performance. Collected data was treated with the SPSS 21.0 program to obtain frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The data was also put to the t-test, one-way ANOVA, Dunncan’s post-hoc test, and regression analysis. The findings were as follows: first, teaching efficacy was high among the teachers with a career of ten years or longer and among those who were in their forties or older. The level of good teaching performance was high among the teachers with a career of ten years or longer. Secondly, there were significant positive correlations between the teaching efficacy and good teaching performance of early childhood teachers. Individual teaching efficacy had more influences on good teaching practice than general teaching efficacy. These findings raise a need to keep providing various educational supports to promote the teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers to ensure good teaching performance in the field of early childhood education.
