역량기반 비교과프로그램의 질 관리 연구 - 한국의 D대학교를 중심으로

A Study on Competency-Based Extra Curriculum Program Quality Management - Focused on D University in Korea

본 연구의　목적은 역량 기반 비교과프로그램이 점차 확산되고 있는 추세에서 역량 맵핑에 대한 타당성을 높이고 비교과프로그램의 내실화와 평가·환류체계를 고도화하는 것이다. 이를 위해 역량 기반 프로그램에 맵핑된 역량에 대한 타당성 및 비교과프로그램의 교육성과를 분석하고자 하였고 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 역량 기반 프로그램별로 만족도 실태조사를 통한 정량평가를 실시한 결과 대부분 프로그램에서 운영 및 환경에 대한 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로그램에 맵핑된 역량의 타당성을 분석한 결과 총 59개 프로그램 중 38개 프로그램은 적합한 것으로 나타난 반면, 21개 프로그램은 부적합한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 역량 맵핑이 적합한 프로그램을 대상으로 프로그램의 효과성을 분석한 결과 역량기반 프로그램을 통해 참가학생의 역량 향상에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 역량 기반 비교과프로그램 별로 맵핑한 역량을 교육성과와 이어질 수 있는지를 검증하는 연구결과이다. 또한 향후 역량기반 비교과프로그램의 지속적인 질 관리를 할 수 있는 평가·환류체계를 고도화 했다는 점에서 의미가 크다고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to improve the validity of competency mapping and to enhance fidelity and evaluation and feedback system of the extra curriculum program in the gradual expansion of competency-based extra curriculum programs. To do this, we tried to analyze the validity of the competencies mapped to competency-based extra curriculum programs and the educational outcomes of the extra curriculum programs. First, as a result of the quantitative evaluation through satisfaction surveys about competency-based extra curriculum programs, most of the programs showed low satisfaction with operation and environment. Second, the validity of the competencies mapped to the extra curriculum program was analyzed. As a result, 38 out of a total of 59 programs were found to be appropriate, while 21 programs were found to be inadequate. Third, adequate competency mapping showed that competency-based extra curriculum programs were effective in improving the competency of participating students. The results of this study confirm that competency-based extra curriculum programs and adequately program-mapped competencies can lead to educational performance. In addition, the evaluation and feedback system that enables continuous quality management of competency-based extra curriculum programs will be meaningful in the future.
