Lauritzen과 Jaeger의 내러티브 설계 모형을 적용한 기독교교육과정 설계 가능성 탐구

Exploring the possibility of designing a Christian curriculum using the narrative design model of Lauritzen and Jaeger

최근 교육과정 개발 방식의 논의에서 내러티브에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 인문학이나 철학에서 많은 관심이 되었던 내러티브는 이제 교육 분야에서 그 적용 범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 교육 분야에서 특히 교과교육이나 상담교육, 법률 교육, 의료 및 간호 교육 분야 등에서 다양한 적용이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 종교 교육 분야에서는 오래전부터 다양하게 적용되어 오고 있으나 이에 대한 체계적인 연구는 미흡한 실정이었다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 배경 하에서 종교 교육의 맥락에서 이루어진 일단의 연구이다. 인간의 삶에서 빠질 수 없는 것이 이야기다. 기독교는 하나님의 이야기를 담고, 믿음의 사람들의 이야기를 담아낸 종교이기에 기독교교육도 마찬가지이다. 본 연구에서는 Lauritzen과 Jaeger의 내러티브 설계모형을 적용한 기독교교육과정 설계 가능성을 탐구하자고 한다. 먼저 내러티브가 가지고 있는 의미와 특성을 규정하고, 내러티브와 기독교교육과의 관련성을 찾아보고자 한다. 이러한 관련성을 고려해서 기독교교육의 단원을 선정해서 Lauritzen과 Jaeger의 내러티브 설계모형을 적용해 본다.

There are many interests about story-telling or narrative in curriculum development, The narrative research is expanded to human and social sciences based on research method and research epistemology. With increasing interests, we may approach to search the nature and meaning of curriculum design. This study intends to view the scope of human agent of schooling, religious education. It is the story that can not be excluded from human life. Christianity is a religion that contains the story of God and the stories of people of faith, so Christian education is the same. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of designing a Christian curriculum using the narrative design model of Lauritzen and Jaeger. First, we define the meaning and characteristics of narrative, and try to find out the relation between narrative and Christian education. Considering this relevance, we select a unit of Christian education and apply the narrative design model of Lauritzen and Jaeger.
