자유선택활동 구성에 참여한 예비유아교사들의 경험 이야기

A story of the experience of a preparatory preschool teacher who participated in the composition of free choice activities

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 수업중에 스스로 자유선택활동을 구성하고 이를 통해 경험한 자유선택활동의 의미를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 S시에 위치한 A대학 유아교육과 대학생 35명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 본 연구는 총 3단계로 실시되었으며 자유선택활동을 경험하기 위한 수업 전 단계, 수업 중 단계, 수업 후 단계로 실시되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사들은 자유선택활동이 왜 필요하고 유아에게 어떤 의미가 있는 것인지를 알게 되었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사들은 자유선택활동의 경험을 통해 교사의 역할에 대한 인식 전환의 계기가 되었다. 셋째, 예비유아교사가 경험한 자유선택활동은 유아교육현장에서 유아교사로 직면하게 되었을 때 교수행동으로 연결되어 교사직을 수행하는 밑거름이 될 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 예비유아교사에게 적절한 자유선택활동 경험은 앞으로 유아교육현장에 직면하였을 때 교사로서 유능함을 주고 유아들의 발달에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, the purpose is to see that the preparatory preschool teachers compose their free choice activities during class, and thereby know the meaning of the free choice activities experienced. The subjects of this study were 35 undergraduates of Early Childhood Education in A college. This study was conducted in three stages, and it was conducted in pre - class, during class, and after class to experience free choice activity. Research results First of all, the preparatory preschool teacher needs to know why free choice activities are needed and what meaning the preschooler has. Second, the preparatory preschool teachers have triggered a change in the teacher s role through the experience of free choice activities. Third, the free choice activities experienced by the preparatory preschool teachers will be the basis for connecting to teaching behavior and performing teaching jobs when faced as preschool teachers in the field of preschool education. Therefore, appropriate free choice activity experience for pre - service early childhood teachers will be able to give competence as a teacher and contribute to the development of young children when faced with the field of early childhood education.
