성과기반 교육개선을 위한 기본간호학 루브릭 적용 효과

The Effects of Application of Fundamental Nursing Rubrics for an Outcome-based Education Improvement

본 연구는 간호학과 학생들을 대상으로 성과기반 교육을 위한 기본간호학 이론 및 실습교육의 루브릭을 적용한 후 간호학생의 학습태도와 문제해결과정 및 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 단일군 사전-사후설계를 사용하였으며, 연구대상은 2016년 1학기 기본간호학 교육과정에 참여한 2학년 간호학생으로 총 54명이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 본 연구결과 학습성과 중심의 루브릭 개발과 적용 및 학습 성찰을 통한 교육은 간호학생의 학습태도, 문제해결과정 및 자기주도적 학습능력을 유의하게 증가시켰다. 또한 학습태도와 문제해결과정, 학습태도와 자기주도적 학습능력, 문제해결과정과 자기주도적 학습능력이 각각 순 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 기본간호학 루브릭의 적용은 간호학 교육의 질적 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 추후 기본간호학 이론 및 실습교육의 루브릭 개발과 프로그램 학습성과 평가 체계 및 적용효과에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

This study was to examine the effect of fundamental nursing theoretical class and practice education of rubric application for an outcome-based program on learning attitude, problem solving process, and self-directed learning ability of nursing students. For this study, one-group pretest-posttest design was used, and data were collected from 54 nursing students who completed a set of questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The education program significantly increased the levels of learning attitude, problem solving process, and self-directed learning ability. In addition, learning attitude and problem-solving process, learning attitudes and self-directed learning abilitly, and problem-solving process and self-directed learning ability showed positive correlations, respectively. Therefore, it was confirmed that the application of rubrics of fundamental nursing has a positive effect on the improvement of quality of nursing education. It is necessary to continue research on development of rubrics of fundamental nursing theoretical class and practice education, program outcomes evaluation system, and effect of application. Implications and limitations were provided in discussion.
