장기요양기관 입소노인의 거주만족도에 관한 연구

A Study on the Satisfaction of the Elderly in Long-term Care Institution

본 연구에서는 노인장기요양기관의 관리자, 요양보호사, 입소노인을 대상으로 하여 기관의 평가등급, 요양보호사의 서비스 질, 입소노인의 거주만족도간의 관계를 밝히는데 연구의 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 2018년 1월 2월에 전국에 있는 79개의 기관을 대상으로 직접 내방하여 설문조사를 하였다. 최종적으로 관리자 79명(79개 기관), 요양보호사 381명, 입소노인 381명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구결과, 첫째, 남자노인의 거주만족도가 여자노인의 거주만족도보다 높았고, 배우자가 있는 노인의 거주만족도가 배우자가 없는 노인의 거주만족도 보다 높았다. 둘째, 요양보호사의 학력이 고졸인 경우 초‧중졸인 경우에 비해 요양보호사의 서비스 질(신뢰성)이 높았다. 셋째, 입소노인의 거주만족도는 요양보호사의 서비스의 질보다는 기관평가에 더 큰 영향을 받았다. 구체적으로 시설에 대한 선호도가 높을수록, 시설입소 노인과 가족간의 관계가 긍정적으로 변화하였을수록, 평가등급이 긍정적으로 변화하였을수록 입소노인의 거주만족도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the evaluation level of the institution, the service quality of caregivers, and the residence satisfaction of the elderly residents. To do this, we surveyed 79 agencies nationwide in January and February 2018. Finally, 79 people (79 institutions), 381 caregivers and 381 elderly people were used for analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, residence satisfaction of male elderly was higher than that of female elderly, and residence satisfaction of elderly with spouse was higher than that of elderly without spouse. Second, the service quality (reliability) of caregivers is higher than that of primary and secondary graduates when the level of education of high school graduates is high school graduates. Third, the residents satisfaction of the elderly residents was more influenced by institutional evaluation than the quality of service of caregivers. Specifically, it was found that the preference for the facility, the relationship between the elderly and the family, the satisfaction level of the elderly residents increased as the evaluation level changed positively.
