독서스피치를 활용한 뉴스 낭독극 수업 설계 연구

A Study on the Design of News reading play Class using Reading Speech

이 연구는 프로젝트 학습을 기반으로 한 뉴스 낭독극 수업설계로 초등고학년생의 독서 흥미와 발표력 신장을 목적으로 구안하였다. 뉴스 낭독극은 책 내용으로 방송뉴스 대본을 작성하고 모방놀이로 발표하는 낭독극이다. 학습 단계에 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기 네 가지 영역이 융합된 활동이다. 학습자에게 적용한 결과, 자신감과 발표력, 독서 흥미도가 향상되었다. 특히 모방 놀이 형식의 낭독 발표가 학습자에게 즐거움을 주는 요소로 나타났다. 독서율이 급감하는 초등고학년 시기에 독서스피치 활동으로 독서 흥미와 자발적인 독서습관 형성을 돕는 것은 평생 독자로 이끄는 시작점이 될 것이며 궁극적으로는 공공도서관의 목적에도 부합될 것이다.

The study was designed for the purpose of developing interest in reading and presentation skills for an elementary school student through the design of news reading classes based on project learning. News reading play is a reading speech that writes scripts for broadcast news and announces them in copycat play. It is an activity where speaking, listening, reading, and four writing areas are fused together in the learning phase. As a result of application to learners, confidence, presentation, and reading interest have improved. In particular, the announcement of copycat-like reading has been shown to entertain learners. Helping readers interest in reading and create voluntary reading habits with reading-speech activities during an elementary school student when reading rates are plummeting will be the starting point f or a lifetime reader and ultimately for the purpose of a public library to be matched.
