다문화가정 대상 한국어 교재 개발 연구

Study on development of Korean textbooks for multi-cultural families

본 연구는 2017~2018년에 개발된 다문화가정 구성원 대상 한국어 교재를 집중적으로 검토하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존 교재인『결혼이민자와 함께하는 한국어󰡕를 분석하였다. 새 교재는 다문화가정 구성원들이 한국 사회에 통합되어 안정적인 생활을 영위하는 데 도움이 될 수 있도록 개발하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이민자 대상 한국어 교재에 관한 선행 연구와 이민자 한국어 교재를 검토한 후, 다문화가족지원센터의 학습자와 교사를 대상으로 한 요구 분석 결과를 바탕으로 다문화가정 대상 한국어 교재 개발의 원리와 각 단계별 목표를 설정하였다. 그리고 변화된 다문화 사회 패러다임과 학습자 특성 및 요구를 반영한『다문화가정과 함께하는 즐거운 한국어󰡕와『다문화가정과 함께하는 정확한 한국어󰡕를 개발하였다. 초급과 중급 교재는 다문화가족지원센터의 집합 교육 단계별 100시간에 맞춰 개발하였고 정착 초기의 다문화가정 구성원부터 정착한 지 오래된 구성원까지 필요로 하는 한국어 및 한국 문화 정보를 다양하게 담았다. ‘자기→가족→이웃→직장/사회’로 시야를 넓혀 점층적으로 주제화된 과로 구성하였으며 스토리 중심 교수 모형으로설계되었다. 개발된 교재의 실제를 통해 교재 구성을 상세히 기술하였다.

The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of Korean textbooks for multi-cultural family members that have been developed in 2017-2018. For this, we analyze Korean 1-4 with married immigrants which were previously published for marriage immigrants. The new textbooks are to help multi-cultural family members to integrate into Korean society and engaged in stable life. Previous research on marriage immigrants was also reviewed to set goals for each stage focusing on the principles and strategies of developing the new textbooks for multi-cultural families. As a result, series of Joyful Korean Language (1~4 levels) and Accurate Korean Language (1~4 levels) have been developed reflecting the new multi-cultural society paradigm and learner characteristics as well as their needs. The new textbooks are designed to include essential Korean and various Korean cultural information to suit all the members of multi-cultural families on different stages of settlement and to access by topics on Self→Family→Neighborhood→Work/Society to broaden the learners’ view of life in the target culture. The contents and structure of the textbooks are minutely described through the parts of the textbooks.
