다문화가정 귀화 이주민 대상 한국사 교육과정 성취기준 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구

An Exploratory Study for the Development of Achievement Standards of Korean History Curriculum for Immigrants of Multicultural Families

본 연구의 목적은 한국으로 귀화한 이주민 대상 한국사 교육과정 성취기준을 개발하는 것에 있다. 한국사 교육을 통하여 이주민은 한국 국민이 필수적으로 갖추고 있는 역사적 사실과 맥락을 학습할 수 있다. 하지만, 이주민에게 필요한 학습 요소가 무엇인지에 대한 기준이 설정된 연구는 찾아보기 어려운 편이다. 이 연구는 교육부의 2015 개정교육과정 중학교 ‘역사과’ 성취기준을 모 성취기준으로 설정하여 이주민에게 필요한 성취기준을 재구성하였다. 성취기준 재구성을 위해 활용한 준거는 교과용 도서 개발을 위한 검정기준을 수정한 자료였다. 준거를 활용하여 한국에 10년 이상 거주한 귀화 이주민 5명을 대상으로 조사와 면담을 통해 성취기준을 재구성하였다. 2차례 면담을 통하여 성취기준은 중요도와 요구도를 바탕으로 점수화되었고, 이를 바탕으로 이주민 대상 한국사 교육과정 성취기준을 도출할 수 있었다. 도출된 기준은 주제별로는 9개의 범주로 나누어지며 각 대주제는 약 3~4개 정도의 성취기준으로 나누어진다. 아울러 현대사 관련 내용 중 대상자에게 유의미한 내용을 별도로 추가하여 유의미한 학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 시도하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a Korean history curriculum for immigrants. Through Korean history education, immigrants would learn historical facts and contexts that are helpful for Korean life. However, it is difficult to find research that sets criteria for what the learning elements are needed for migrants. This study reconstructed the achievement standards for migrants by reconstructing the achievement standard of 2015 national curriculum for middle school history subject. The criterion used for the reconstruction of the achievement standard was the revised through the criteria of the development of the text book. Based on the criteria, five naturalized immigrants who have lived in Korea for more than 10 years were surveyed and interviewed to reconstruct the achievement standards. Through two interviews, the achievement criteria were scored based on the degree of importance and the requirement, and it was possible to derive the criteria for accomplishing Korean history education for immigrants. The derived criteria are divided into 9 categories according to themes, and each major class is divided into about 3-4 achievement standards. In addition, we attempted to make meaningful learning possible by adding meaningful content to the subjects among contents related to modern history.
