한국 시문학에 나타난 탈물질주의 의식: 촛불 혁명을 다룬 시들을 중심으로

The Post-materialism in the South-korean Poetry: Focused on the Poems Written about the Candlelight Revolution of 2016/17

이 글은 2016/17년 촛불 혁명을 다룬 여덟 권의 시집을 대상으로 탈물질주의 의식이 어떻게 나타나는가를 분석했다. 분석 결과, 이 시집에서 시인들은 대부분 촛불 집회 참가자들과 마찬가지로 관료적 권위주의에 대해 강력하게 비판했고 경제적 불평등에 대해 자주 토로했다. 또한 이 시집들에서는 진화론 모순과 문명 모순에 대한 비판적 메시지가 강하게 나타났으며 가부장적 권위주의와 제국주의적 권위주의에 대한 인식도 여러 시편에 등장했다. 그러나 관료적 권위주의에 대한 비판은 국가주의로 환원되는 경향이 더 많았다. 가부장주의 모순과 제국주의 모순에 대한 인식도 국가주의의 테두리 안에서 여성 인권에 대한 왜곡된 인식이나 배타적 민족주의로 나타나는 경우가 있었다. 진화론 모순과 문명 모순에 대한 인식도 특정 시인을 제외하면 거의 보이지 않았다. 이는 시민 민주주의에 경도된 우파 탈물질주의 혹은 계급의식이 약한 좌파 탈물질주의로서 모순 영역에 따라 그 강도도 달리 나타난 것으로 볼 수 있다.

As a result of analyzing the poetry of 8 volumes dealing with the candlelight revolution of 2016/17, most poets, like the participants of candlelight rallies, strongly criticized bureaucratic authoritarianism and much did the economic inequality. Critical messages against evolutionist and civilization contradiction also strongly emerged, and recognition of patriarchal authoritarianism and imperialist authoritarianism appeared in several pieces. However, the criticism of bureaucratic authoritarianism was more likely to be reduced to nationalism. There were cases where the recognition of patriarchal and imperialist contradiction was displayed as a distorted recognition of the human rights of women or exclusive nationalism in the framework of nationalism. The perception of evolutionist and civilization contradiction could hardly be seen except for certain poets. This signifies rightist post-materialism stimulated by citizen democracy or leftist post-materialism with an weak class consciousness which appear in differentiated intensity according to the kind of contradiction.
