대학생의 창업 준비과정 경험에 대한 탐색적 연구

An Exploratory Research on the Experience of University Student s Start-up Preparation Process

본 연구는 일대일 면접을 통해 창업을 자신의 진로로 결정한 대학생들이 어떤 과정을 통해 창업을 준비하는지 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 자료수집을 위하여 서울 소재 4년제 대학교에 재학하고 있고, 창업할 의지가 있는 대학생 10명을 대상으로 면접을 실시하였으며, 일정 비교 방법(constant comparative method)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫 단계로 대학생들은 자신과 같은 진로인 창업을 준비하는 모임에 참여하여 창업 정보를 얻고 창업 동료를 만나 정서적 지지를 얻었다. 두 번째 단계로 그들은 대학교 내·외 창업교육을 통해 창업 실전 과정을 학습하였고, 창업동아리 활동을 통해 A부터 Z까지 창업 전 과정을 실행해봄으로써 창업 실전을 위한 준비를 해나갔다. 세 번째 단계로 연구 참여자들은 창업 아이템 개발 및 선정, 창업 자본금 마련, 창업 동업자 확보 등을 통해 창업을 실행해나갔다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 진로교육 및 상담, 창업 활성화에 필요한 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to understand university students who decide to start their own businesses how to prepare for a start-up. To collect data for this research, 10 university students who are attending a four-year university in Seoul who are willing to start their own businesses were interviewed through one-on-one in-depth interviews and analyzed the data through a constant comparison analysis method. According to the study, as a first step, college students participated in a group preparing to start their own careers. They have meeting up with their colleagues there. Also they gained emotional support and get information on start-ups. As a second step, they learned the practical course of starting a business through internal and external start-up education. They prepared for the start-up by carrying out the entire start-up process from A to Z through their start-up club activities. As a third step, research participants carried out startups by developing and selecting start-up items, raising capital for start-ups and securing start-up partners. Based on the results of such research, prospective entrepreneurs presented suggestions necessary for the education and counseling of university students on their careers.
