컴퓨터 기반 평가 체제 개발 연구의 현황과 문제점 고찰

컴퓨터 기반 평가 시스템을 학생 평가에 적용하고자 하는 정책이 추진되고 있다. 본고에서는 컴퓨터 기반 평가 시스템 개발 관련 선행 연구 분석 및 현장 교사 인식 조사를 통해, 컴퓨터 기반 평가 시스템 개발 및 적용에 앞서 해결해야 할 문제점을 파악하고 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 컴퓨터 기반 평가 시스템 개발 및 적용을 위한 선결 과제로서 첫째, 컴퓨터 기반 평가에서 측정하고자 하는 능력의 규명 문제, 컴퓨터 기반 평가의 신뢰도 문제 등의 이론적 문제에 대한 논의가 필요하고, 둘째, 학교 현장의 기반 시설 고도화, 평가 시행 주체인 현장 교사, 피험자인 학생들의 컴퓨터 기반 평가에 대한 인식 수준 제고 등의 실제적 문제 등이 존재함을 논하였다. 또한 컴퓨터 사용 능력 등 개별 학생 간 편차의 해소가 요구되고, 이는 컴퓨터 기반 평가 시스템의 신뢰도는 물론 평가 결과의 해석과도 연관된다는 점을 제언하였다.

The Ministry of Education announced the shift from paper and pencil-based test to computer-based test for National Assessment of Educational Achievement on March in this year. But the Computer-base test(or assessment) system is very complex and needs the solution of diverse challenge in field. So, this paper tries to find and suggest the issues of computer-based assessment system development and implement in field. First, the theoretical issues, e.g. the validity and reliability of computer-based assessment system vs paper and pencil-based test be verified and the definition of target domain for computer-based assessment is clearly validated. Second, the practical issues, e.g. to set up of school facilities for ICT, to improve the teacher and student ability and awareness of ICT, be solved. IF to say yes on this issues, the computer-base test(or assessment) system is applicable in field and the validity and reliability of computer-based assessment system be established.
