초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 수업 활성화를 위한 교사의 역할

The Role of Teachers to Activate Physical Education and Expression Area Classes in Elementary Schools

본 연구는 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 수업 활성화를 위한 교사의 역할을 탐색하여 교사에게 또 학생에게 즐겁고 신나는 ‘표현’ 영역 수업 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 나아가 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 수업이 활발하게 진행될 수 있도록 가이드라인을 제시하는데 본 연구의 가치를 두고 있다. 본 연구의 연구 방법은 집단심층면접으로 활발하게 진행되고 있는 ‘신체표현활동연구회’ 회원들 중 활동에 적극적으로 참여하는 초등교사 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구 결과, 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 수업에 필요한 교사의 역할은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사가 함께 활동해야 한다. 둘째, 교사는 수업 환경을 마련하여야 한다. 셋째, 교사는 수업을 준비해야 한다. 또한, 초등학교 체육과 ‘표현’ 영역 수업 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사는 교육과정을 파악하여 이론적 토대를 마련해야 한다. 둘째, 교사는 연수와 교육을 통하여 실기 능력 및 다양한 수업 활동 자료를 마련해야 한다. 셋째, 교사는 수업을 연구하여 이론과 실기를 바탕으로 수업을 구성해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of teachers in primary school physical education and the revitalization of expression area classes and to provide, teachers and students with fun and exciting expression area teaching materials. Furthermore, it aims to propose guidelines for elementary school physical education and ‘expression’ field classes to be actively conducted. The research method of this study was intensive group interviews with 10 primary school teachers who are active participants of the body expression activity research group . The study found that teachers are required to perform the following roles for primary school physical education and ‘expression’ field classes. First, teachers themselves should participate in activities. Second, teachers should set up the learning environment. Third, teachers should prepare for classes. In addition, the following were suggested to activate ‘expression’ field classes in elementary school physical education. First, teachers should grasp the curriculum and lay the theoretical foundation. Second, teachers should prepare practical skills and materials for various class activities through training and education. Third, teachers should study the class and organize it based on theory and practice.
